The political landscape in Telangana is heated up with a recent controversy surrounding Minister Konda Surekha’s comments. She linked KTR to the separation of Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Samantha and it turned out ugly.
Already, the Akkineni family members moved to court with a defamation case against her. Now, it is time for KTR to repeat the move.

Former IT Minister and BRS president KTR filed a petition in the Nampally Special Magistrate Court, seeking criminal action against Konda Surekha for her comments, which he claims were defamatory and aimed at damaging his reputation.
In his petition, KTR highlighted that the remarks were not only made with ill intent but were part of a broader political agenda aimed at gaining cheap publicity and creating sensational news.

KTR also referenced previous incidents where Konda Surekha made similar unfounded accusations, including during the Lok Sabha elections, for which the Election Commission reprimanded her.
Soon after the backlash, Konda Surekha apologized to Samantha but she did not take back her words and added that she would not apologize to KTR.
