BRS Working President KTR has issued a formal legal notice to Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, demanding an unconditional public apology within 48 hours for linking him to Globarena Technologies.
The legal move follows public statements made by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy alleging that Globarena Technologies, the software firm involved in the controversial 2019 Intermediate examination evaluation, operated as a benami entity linked to KTR and that influence was used to secure examination-related contracts for the firm.
In the notice served through his counsel, KTR categorically denied having any ownership, financial, or proprietary interest in Globarena Technologies, describing the Chief Minister’s remarks as false, malicious, and defamatory.
The notice emphasises that no judicial finding, official record, or investigative report connects KTR or his family to the company. Speaking to the media in Warangal, KTR criticized the Chief Minister for lowering the dignity of his office by spreading unverified claims over a sensitive issue like examination results.
He warned that if Revanth Reddy fails to produce concrete evidence or issue a public retract ment within the 48-hour deadline, civil and criminal defamation proceedings will be initiated.
