TG Spices Up: KTR Taking On Revanth Brothers!

KTR Revanth Reddy land row

Telangana politics appears to be heating up again after a period of relatively low-profile confrontation between KTR and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Former CM KCR has largely stayed away from the active political scene, while KTR has been leading the BRS attack against the Congress government.

KTR has now launched a sharp attack against Revanth Reddy and his brothers. He criticised the Chief Minister and questioned the government’s alleged handling of contracts, financial grants and land allocations.

KTR alleged that the Congress government in Telangana has been allocating contracts and financial benefits to companies that, according to him, do not have sufficient credibility or financial strength.

The former minister further alleged that lands worth ₹200 crore were allocated to companies linked to Revanth Reddy and his brothers. He also questioned the credentials and financial capacity of the companies involved.

KTR claimed that some of these companies had phone numbers listed as 123456789 and had a paid-up capital of only Rs 1 lakh. He questioned how companies with such details could receive land reportedly worth ₹200 crore.

KTR was particularly aggressive in his criticism of Revanth Reddy and his brothers. He also took a swipe at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, alleging that Naidu views Revanth Reddy as an incompetent politician and is attempting to interfere with Telangana’s interests.

The latest comments have brought KTR and Revanth Reddy into another direct political confrontation. KTR has made similar corruption allegations against the Revanth Reddy government in the past, including claims related to land and government contracts.

For now, KTR’s latest allegations are expected to trigger a fresh political debate in Telangana. The coming days could see a stronger response from the Congress government and further political exchanges between KTR and Revanth Reddy.
