Laila Controversy Nothing to do with It's Fate

A big deal was made of comedian Prudhvi Raj’s comments and a lot of hullabaloo was created about YSRCP fans boycotting Laila.

But beyond #BoycottLaila, the reality is that no one can save a poorly made film. While the film’s crew might be tempted to throw blame on the boycott or controversies, the fact remains that ‘A’ certificate Laila has surely ended up as another crass film that fails to impress audiences.

The film barely managed to get 1.5/5 rating and less in some social media sites. This speaks of the low production values and Vishwak Sen’s failure in enticing the audiences.

The controversy might have intrigued some to go watch the film, but it thoroughly disappoints. A man dressed as woman is not new to Telugu cinema, but the director fails to make it gripping.
