The Congress government has been focusing on the illegal land grabbing of BRS leaders and KCR family members ever since it came into power. Recently, an illegal construction was demolished in a college owned by BRS MLA Marri Rajashekar Reddy.
Just the other day, show-cause notices were sent to BRS’s alleged ally My Home Group in an illegal land encroachment case.
Now, Telangana police have filed a land encroachment case against KCR’s nephew Kanna Rao and 38 others.
Reportedly, victims filed a complaint against Kanna Rao and his associates alleging that they have tried and threatened to illegally grab a two-acre land in Adibatla region, situated on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
The victims also stated that the accused had taken down their fence on the property and erected their own fencing.
As a result, a case was filed against Kanna Rao and 38 others under IPC sections 307,447, 427, 436, 148 and 149.
The police are currently investigating the case. Reportedly, Kanna Rao is in Bangalore right now. Three of the remaining accused have been remanded into custody, while the others are currently absconding.
