AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been coming under the pump for the land titling act that is in effect in the state. The opposition parties are raising the point of the reason why Jagan Mohan Reddy’s photo must be imprinted on the registration passbooks of entitled landowners.
To counter this deserved backlash, Jagan Mohan Reddy said it isn’t he who is implementing the land titling act but the BJP-led central government. However, this narrative was quickly busted by Pawan Kalyan as he called out Jagan Mohan Reddy in this regard.
“Jagan is trying to cleverly escape by pushing the land titling act on BJP. But in reality, the BJP only asked for the state government’s consensus on the land titling proposition. While the central government’s intention was only to get the feedback of the state governments, this YCP government took the chance to implement the whole program and imprinted Jagan’s photos on registration passbooks.”
“Why should the passbooks of commoners who got their lands from their fathers and grandfathers have the images of Jagan Mohan Reddy instead of stamping of AP government? Would we see PM Modi’s photos on the passport? Then how is Jagan is entitled to have his photo on our land documents?” Pawan questioned.
