The Preliminary Charge Sheet filed by the SIT In AP Liquor Case has revealed that the ultimate beneficiary of the Rs.3500 crore liquor scam that took place during the YSRCP regime was the then CM Jagan.
Eenadu analyzed the Charge Sheet filed by the SIT and it has been revealed that the bribe money received from liquor supply companies and distilleries finally reached Jagan.
The main accused (A-1) Raj Kasireddy used to collect Rs.50-60 crore every month and hand over the amount to YSRCP MP Mithun Reddy (A-4), then YSRCP leader Vijayasai Reddy (A-5), Bharathi Cements Director Govindappa Balaji (A-33), who looked after the financial affairs of Jagan’s wife Bharathi.
They used to transfer the money to Jagan from time to time. It has come to light that Rs 3,500 crore was looted in this way.
Therefore, it is clear that this entire scam was done for Jagan and by people very close to him.
It has come to light that some of the bribe money was given to YSRCP candidates in the last elections to buy votes.
The 305-page preliminary charge sheet filed by the SIT in the liquor scam case came to light on Sunday.
The SIT has mentioned in this chargesheet all the details like the formulation of a new liquor policy to facilitate bribery when Jagan came to power in 2019, the preparatory meetings held for this, the method followed to implement this conspiracy, giving the largest number of supply orders to brands that paid bribes, driving companies that refused to pay bribes out of the market without giving any orders, etc.
The Charge Sheet also mentioned about the method followed to collect the bribe money, who received the money and how? How was it diverted through shell companies? How was it spent in the last general elections? How was it moved to Dubai through hawala? How luxurious a life was lived with this money? Where did it invest abroad? Where are the dens where the bribe money was hidden?
Of this illgotten money, Rs 200-300 crore was distributed to YSRCP candidates for expenses in the last general elections.
This money was channeled to candidates in Prakasam, Chittoor and Nellore districts through Chevireddy Bhaskara Reddy, a close aide of Jagan.
