From the past one year, there are several rumours that Chandrababu Naidu will be sending his son, Lokesh to Rajya Sabha and will be getting him a berth in Union Cabinet. However the Nara scion confirmed that there is no such plan for him and he has lot of work in Telugu States itself.

“What will I do in Center? I have so much of work here itself,” Lokesh said to media the other day. The Nara scion was said to be instrumental in several defections from Congress and YSR Congress before the elections to till today. He questioned the scribes why they have to sit idle when the opposition leader is threatening to topple the government.
With Lokesh clarifying on his Rajya Sabha future, the race will intensify in TDP over the Rajya Sabha berths. TDP will get three Rajya Sabha seats in couple of months. YSR Congress is also having a chance to get one seat and TDP is keen on getting that seat too by encouraging defections from the party.
