The much talked about Manugode by election saga is finally coming to an end very soon. The polling was completed today and the only thing due now is that counting which is set to take place on the 6th of this month.
Now, the exit poll survey results are out and they only pick one clear winner and that is the joint part of Telangana, TRS.
Atma Sakshi’s exit polls predict a clear win for TRS with 41-42% of the votes as BJP comes second with 35-36% of the votes.
People’s Pulse reports that TRS will win the pole with 44.4 vote share as BJP settles for 37.3%.
Trishul Consultancy anticipates 47% vote share for TRS and 31.5% for BJP.
Third Vision has taken an educated guess, saying TRS will sweep the polls with 48-51 vote share while BJP will settle with 31-35%.
Congress has been restricted to third place in all the exit poll surveys. KA Paul is out of the race, and perhaps not even in the picture, as many had anticipated already.
All the exit polls are suggesting that Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, who quit Congress to join BJP and later contest from Manugode again will end up in the losing side.
Incidentally, the chief minister, KCR had also called for a press conference shortly after the polling and expressed confidence in TRS’s victory. Well, will know the real winner in just a couple of days from now and this could set the stage for the forthcoming Telangana general elections.
