CM Vijay Revenge Started: But Good Or Bad?

Vijay political controversy

Generally, a politician has to face a lot of criticism and social commentary when he gets active in the political atmosphere. Overtime, they tend to gain thick skin over such criticism and take it on a lighter note.

But there are times when this criticism can cross the line and can trigger the revenge angle in this politician if he or she is in power. Now a similar scenario has emerged in Tamil Nadu, where Thalapathi Vijay has been elected to power and is serving as the CM.

Earlier, a YouTuber from Madurai was arrested for continuously spreading misinformation on Vijay and being extremely critical of the TVK chief. After a bit of public backlash, this media person was released from police custody.

Now, DMK former minister and MLA Anitha R. Radhakrishnan was arrested by the police on Friday after the Madras High Court cancelled his anticipatory bail plea earlier in the day.

The case was registered over wild remarks he made against TVK president and Chief Minister Vijay during a public meeting held at Athur near Tiruchendur.

Back, then this senior leader had commented that Vijay was happy in his life earlier as he used to chill with Trisha and his house, and he is currently clueless after becoming the CM of Tamil Nadu. This comment was unanimously rejected by all sections of public and invited criticism.

However, it appears that chief minister Vijay has taken this very seriously, and the fact that the senior leader belonging to the DMK has now been arrested is an indication of the same.

A few people are of the opinion that Vijay could have taken this issue politely and let the public teach this DMK man a good lesson. They are commenting that a young chief minister like Vijay, taking revenge at such early stages in his tenure is not a good sign. But the nature of the comment made by the senior leader is extremely derogatory and it has warranted adequate Police action.
