When did Prime Minister Narendra Modi talk the last time about Demonetization? If you have not followed the Prime Minister’s Speeches after that December 31st Night address, you did not miss anything. Narendra Modi talked about Demonetization for the last time back then and from then, there is absolutely Zero Communication from Modi.

Demonetization concluded on December 30th. We are into the Sixth week after the Notes Ban, But India’s Central Bank, RBI is yet to reveal the quantum of the Notes Back to the Banks. Six Weeks is a very big time for RBI to reveal the numbers but then it is being intentionally held up to save the government from embarrassment.
The Budget did neither have any significant mention about the Demonetization nor are the speeches of the Prime Minister in his campaign for Uttar Pradesh Elections. It is a clear indication that the government is in defense mode and Demonetization may be a big failure or else it would be already in the Top Position in Modi’s achievements list.
During the early days of the Demonetization, there were reports that the government is expecting gains of not less than Five Lakh Crore. But then, things indicate that the gains may be less than One Lakh Crore which can be termed as peanuts when compared to the incomes lost by the governments, Economic Growth sacrificed and ordeals that people went through.
