Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Nizamabad to address a Public Meeting as a part of his campaign for BJP. Modi took a potshot against CM KCR saying they think they can get away with not doing any development just like Congress. The PM asked KCR to go and spend five years in London as he failed to fulfill promises like converting Nizamabad into London.

He also reminded KCR about his challenge of not asking for a vote if he did not fulfill the promise of drinking water to every home. He also mocked the superstitious beliefs of KCR saying that he lacks self-confidence and therefore depends on mantras, lemons, mirchi, threads. Interestingly, the same Prime Minister heaped praises on KCR in the Parliament while taking a jibe against Chandrababu Naidu.
This is unbecoming of the Prime Minister to speak in a double tongue – Praising in the Parliament and Taking Jibe in Election Campaigns. On the other side, Political Experts say that this is intentionally done to ensure that BJP takes a pie of the anti-government vote which will benefit the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti in the elections.
The popular belief is that TRS and BJP are involved in a Quid Pro Quo deal even since KCR dissolved the Assembly. The Central Government ensured that the Elections happened as per the plan of KCR. The Prime Minister reportedly changed track amid the speculations of Mahakutami gaining the ground in this elections. Modi cannot afford Congress to win ahead of the General Elections in May.
