The controversial arrest of TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu has come as a rude shock to the party troops. This is the most talked about topic in AP political circles these days.
In this connection, the national media is getting heavily influenced by the YCP government who are trying to fabricate the narrative.
National media is reporting only the incidents related to the arrest and carrying reports of the scam, as per the data that has been planted by YSRCP. They are not verifying the facts and the unlawful manner in which CBN was carried out.
They are just plainly reporting the news reports and versions that are publicized by a couple of Telugu media portals, instead of unearthing the facts and carrying the truth about the set of incidents that have unfolded.
They are acting as if they don’t even know that CBN was arrested in a case where his name is not even in the FIR, he wasn’t given a prior notice, and more importantly, there is no clarity on whether there is governor’s permission to carry out the arrest.
It is high time that the TDP starts action in this connection. Perhaps, a top tier leader, preferably Lokesh should step out and address the national media, at least so that the national political landscape gets to know the vendetta politics in AP that have resulted in the arrest of CBN.
