BARC released the News Channels ratings for Week 34. In the ‘All 15+’ category for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, there are no changes in the top 10 rankings.
NTV continues to be at the top and is followed by TV9.

Coming next is V6 in third position, TV5 in fourth, ABN in fifth, T News in sixth, 10 TV in seventh, and Sakshi in eighth.
It is interesting to note that ratings of all channels dropped when compared to the last week. Only ABN improved its ratings slightly.

TV9 is the biggest loser as it lost 7.9 ratings when compared to the last week.
Sakshi, the YSR Congress Mouthpiece used to be in the Top 4 before the elections. That signifies the impact of the channel on the AP electorate as well.

But then, it has been languishing at eighth spot for several months.
We are less than six months away from the elections in Andhra Pradesh but it looks like there is no change in Sakshi’s fate whatsoever.
Probably, the YSR Congress should rely on Rented mikes rather than their own mikes this election season.
