No, the matter has reached a far more important procedure with roads and buildings, Minister Nithin Gadkari starting to face the heat.
The latest updates are suggesting that the union minister has approached the Bombay High Court regarding the social media posts about him and his family getting gains from E20 blending with petrol.
According to Nitin Gadkari’s lawsuit in the higher court, the alleged content on social media include posts and deepfake pictures and videos etc linking him and his family to profits from the E20 ethanol blending programme.
The lawsuit filed by the cabinet minister instated that the ethanol blending policy is being administered by the Petroleum Ministry.
It appears that the heat with regard to the E20 petrol has reached union ministers now and rightly has. There was a lot of detrimental talk that happened within the central government troops regarding this situation and it warranted a social media wave against Gadkari.
Now, the cabinet minister is searching for legal alternatives, and there could be a chance that he might slowdown while speaking out on the matter henceforth.
