Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu launched SHE Autos in Vijayawada earlier today. These Autorickshaws will have women auto drivers in uniform to ensure safety of women and government will help women who are interested in having such autorickshaws.

Autorickshaws from ages have become one of the most unreliable means of transport. Auto drivers are known for their rash driving and in some occasions, few drivers have resorted to crimes on women.
So SHE autos may be a way out of such menace. Telangana government had introduced SHE cabs in Hyderabad. But cabs are still to pick up in AP and so SHE autos have taken their place.
