2000 Notes are just into the market and not at least 30% of the total population saw the Note in their hands until now but then one farmer in Chikkamagaluru already got duped by a Fake 2000 Note. An unknown person who purchased onion from him handed him a Rs. 2,000 note and said it was a new note and valid.

But then later it turned out that the note is just a photocopy of the original note. This happened on Saturday morning. But then when Ashok showed it to some of his friends, they found the note was only a photocopy of the original currency note. Local Police have registered a case and investigating into it.
A case of cheating was booked as per Sec. 420 of IPC in Chikkamagaluru Town station. Police say that the note was poorly photocopied, anybody can notice it easily but the farmer got duped because he had not seen the Original Note yet. The person can not be traced easily as it happened in a market.
