Raavi Ramanatham Babu is the YSR Congress incharge of Paruchur. After the 2019 elections, Jagan had set Daggubati Venkateswarrao aside and made Raavi the incharge.
In fact, Raavi was in YSR Congress earlier and joined TDP after Jagan gave a ticket to Daggubati. Less than a year after the elections, Raavi came back to YSR Congress.
The local leaders from YSR Congress however disowned him saying that they will not accept someone who went to TDP and came back after the elections.
Reports are that the party leadership is planning to change the incharge.
Initially, they planned to appoint Senior leader Gaade Venkat Reddy’s son, Gaade Madhusudhan Reddy as the incharge but are now thinking on the lines to have a Kapu candidate.
Buzz is that the party is pushing Chirala Former MLA, Aamanchi Krishna Mohan to Parchur even though he is reluctant. However, there is no announcement.
Meanwhile, Raavi Ramanatham Babu is actively participating in the Gadapa Gadapaku program. This is adding to the confusion in the constituency.
