Students Abused Modi, Made Me Sad: Pawan Kalyan

Pawan Kalyan with PM Modi

The deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan had already pledged his unconditional support to Prime Minister Modi and the NDA government at the center. He made his stand all the more blatant while speaking at the Bhogapuram Airport launch ceremony today.

The deputy CM said he had tears in his eyes when he heard students at the Jantar Mantar protest abusing Modi as they wished. Pawan Kalyan claimed that Modi gave so much to the nation and he doesn’t deserve to be abused like it.

Kalyan pointed out that parents must start teaching manners to their kids under 25 years of age as they simply cannot take it to the streets and abuse people like Modi as they wish. He was of the implication that the students were in the wrong protesting and speaking against Modi at the inception level.

The Janasena president added that the people of India must feel that abusing Modi is like abusing themselves, and that is the unified emotion that everyone must carry.

It was evident that Kalyan was overwhelmingly in favour of Modi and the BJP government. But considering the mood of the nation, where students are clearly protesting against certain matters, this one sided comment from PK might yield badly on social media. But considering that he was sharing the stage with the PM, he might have his own reasons to speak highly of the latter.
