Pilot Rohit Reddy is in Chanchalguda jail with regards to the drug party held at a farmhouse in Moinabad. The case created quite a stir in the state as the BRS leader was found hosting a TDP MP from neighbouring Andhra Pradesh in the party.
On March 17, Pilot Rohit Reddy was given notices by the BRS party. However, Rohit Reddy did not respond to the notices. Though the party asked for a written explanation, Rohit Reddy did not come up with an explanation. 10 days passed by and still there was no explanation.
However, Rohit Reddy finally responded by saying he could not send the written explanation as he was in jail. Meanwhile, there is mounting pressure on BRS leadership to take disciplinary action against Pilot Rohit Reddy.
Pilot Rohit Reddy is currently under 14-day remand. The ruling Congress has been targeting BRS working president KTR and the BRS is hitting back saying that the party is trying to tarnish the image of KTR.
The news made headlines across the country when the party was busted. On the other hand, TDP MP Putta Mahesh submitted a written explanation to TDP saying he was merely present at the party and took no drugs.
