Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tweet ahead of his visit to Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh has won hearts across the internet. The Chandrababu government has made extensive arrangements to welcome him, leaving no detail unchecked for the high-profile visit.
Security checks and trial runs were carried out at Srisailam before the Prime Minister’s arrival. However, what truly caught attention was Modi’s gesture that resonated with Telugus everywhere.
He tweeted in Telugu about his upcoming visit, saying he would offer prayers at the Srisailam Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna temple. He also mentioned launching development works worth Rs 13,400 crore across power, railways, defence, petroleum, and industrial sectors.
The tweet quickly went viral among Telugu speakers, who appreciated his effort to connect in their language. During the Amaravati foundation stone ceremony too, Modi used Telugu words in his speech, a gesture warmly received by locals.
