Prabhas Skips Vote

On Monday, many stars from the Telugu film industry, including Mahesh Babu, Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, NTR, Ram Charan, Naga Chaitanya, Nani, and many others, turned up at their polling booths to exercise their voting rights. They not only cast their votes but also encouraged citizens to participate actively.

However, amidst this, one star was seen to be nowhere. He is none other than Prabhas.

Prabhas was not seen voting in either Andhra Pradesh or Telangana elections. Factually speaking he was never seen participating in voting in AP or Telangana in any of the elections till now.

It is even more unfortunate given his family’s political background, with his uncle Krishnam Raju having served as an MP. Recently his aunt Shyamala Devi openly supported the TDP alliance.

Many stars had to stand in long queues to vote. But they took the pain so that they could inspire others to participate in the festival of democracy.

SS Rajamouli made a special effort and rushed from Dubai to Hyderabad just to cast his vote. Veteran actor Kota Srinivasa Rao, aged 82, made the effort to set an example by voting. In such a scenario, Prabhas’ absence is disappointing.

Given Prabhas’ immense popularity as the biggest pan-India star, his failure to vote sets a poor example, especially when voter turnout in Hyderabad and Secunderabad was notably low. His coming out to vote could have influenced so many people to come out and vote.
