Police raided a farmhouse in Bakaram, Moinabad, Rangareddy district after receiving information about drug use at a party. The gathering included 51 African nationals from Uganda, Kenya, and two other countries, with most of the attendees being Nigerians.
The raid followed a tip-off about ganja and cocaine consumption. All 51 individuals were taken into custody, and the Rajendranagar police have registered a case. A woman named Mamos from Uganda, whose visa had expired, was found to have hosted the event while staying in the city illegally.
From the venue, police seized 65 beer bottles and 20 litres of alcohol. Immigration officials have been called to verify the visas of those detained. Among them, 12 are students. Police stated that once immigration checks are complete, drug tests will be conducted.
