Revanth Reddy and KTR are arch rivals in Telangana politics. But as it appears, they are mutually helping each other.
Going into the story, Revanth Reddy, speaking at the TANA meeting, said farmers don’t need 24 hours free current. He said KCR is looting public money through this current scheme.
In general sense, Revanth Reddy’s comment is a generic one. However, BRS leaders took it the exact opposite way. In fact, their bigwigs Kavitha and KTR have also reacted to this comment from Revanth.
Kavitha said Revanth should immediately apologise to the farmers community in the state. KTR said “this is the state of affairs with Revanth Reddy. We are facilitating 3 crops yield for farmers while this Revanth wants to restrict 3 hours current.
There are also state wide protests against Revanth and these are orchestrated by the BRS troops.
As it appears, the BRS wants to target Congress extensively and this Revanth comment came at the right time. The idea could be to keep Congress and BJP in equal power so that both of them will divide the anti incumbency votes and no single party is benefiting from the same.
Hence the intense round of criticism and organised protests on Revanth.
