Revanth Reddy’s Security Completely Removed

Revanth-Reddy-Security-RemovedTelangana Government removed the security of Revanth Reddy, the TPCC Chief & Malkajgiri MP. The MP initially received 4+4 personnel while he was an MLA, which was later reduced to 2+2 by the KCR government when he became an MP. Recent reports indicate that all security personnel were removed on Wednesday.

This move has drawn criticism from Congress party members, who accuse the government of intentionally targeting and harassing Revanth Reddy due to their anticipation of defeat in the upcoming elections. For the past two days, Revanth Reddy has been without security as his assigned personnel have not been present.

Previously, Rachakonda police provided him with four gunmen for security. However, due to Revanth Reddy’s unfavorable comments about the police, his security personnel stopped providing protection. Consequently, he has been moving among the public without security for the past two days.

Congress party members emphasize that if any harm befalls Revanth Reddy, the KCR government should be held accountable. With the elections in Telangana approaching in less than 100 days, the Congress party has emerged as the principal opposition overtaking BJP right after the Karnataka polls.
