In a rather bizarre and intriguing case, Kamaljit Arora has been accused of murdering his two children, an 11-yr-old son and a 13-yr-old daughter at their home in Montreal, Canada. The 45-yr-old accused happens to be Indian-origin Canadian.
After murdering his two children, Kamaljit strangled his wife Rama Rani Arora at their home in the Ste-Dorothee neighborhood in Laval, north of Montreal. Incidentally, it was his elder daughter who sought help from her neighbor to contact the police. She is said to have run up to her neighbor who was returning from work and was sobbing uncontrollably when she asked for a phone and dialed 911.
Kamaljit was supposed to appear in court, but the police said that he was not physically fit. For now, it is being said it is a case of domestic violence. Meanwhile, Laval authorities have asked the residents to call 2-1-1 if there are any situations at home that can lead to violence.
