Jagan appears to have some sort of a problem with the name “NTR”. First, he changed the name of the iconic NTR University and named it after his father, YSR, much to the amusement of public.
Now, Jagan is said to be doing something silly about the name NTR again.
Going into the story, the TDP government had built a commercial complex in Anantapur and intended to give it to public enthusiasts who wish to open up private shops there. They named the complex after NTR.
And then came Jagan with his aversion towards the NTR name.
For the very reason that the building had been named after NTR, the YCP government decided to leave it to sheds. The building was barred from public use and while the TDP government intended to give these shops to public, the Jagan government did nothing as such.
As a result, the building has lost its sheen and has taken a sorry toll. It is now looking like a Bhoot Bungalow. This is nothing but sheer wastage of public money just over Jagan’s aversion towards NTR name, opine political analysts.
