Rani Rudramadevi is sitting on the throne, Gurram Jashua is scribbling, Alluri Sitaramaraju arguing on something and others discussing seriously.
Then suddenly Alluri statue raised voice, “Your Majesty! You see. I’m a freedom fighter who fought for the country not a region. Would I also be replaced?”
Salivahana cleared his voice, “Maharani! Since this 1956 fast GO doesn’t apply to us, I request you to to constitute a ‘History Tracing Back Committee’ to look into the 400 years history of each statue & find if there is any distance connection of any one of us to Andhra. Otherwise we may be spared now and when found out, we may get ousted.”
On hearing the pleas and suggestions, Rani Rudramadevi decided to have the following committees set up…
1. A History Tracing Back Committee to decide on 400 years history of each statue.
2. An Intra-State Committee to decide upon the names of the statues which would leave them because of their Andhra connection.
3. A Citizenship Committee which would suggest the names of statues which may probably stay because of their services to the country rather than to the other Telugu region.
4. An Inter State committee to decide the list of statues from other States if any.
5. A Farewell Committee to prepare a list of statues who would finally give farewell to the statues of the other region.
6. A Committee for Protection of Statue Rights that would come out with some precautionary measures to prevent wear and tear of statues while they get removed.
Meanwhile someone is seen running towards them from the State Assembly Building. Gasping Gandhiji said, “How can you alienate me? I’m a bit late to catch up. Include me in your list as the 34th statue. I may be be asked anytime to leave for Gujarat!”
