Congress Senior Leader Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy resigned from the party and joined BJP. He resigned as the MLA too ensuring a by-election.
Rajagopal Reddy is giving it his 100% and ensuring that leaders from TRS and Congress join BJP so that there is a perception that the party is a hot favorite.
As many as five surveys were out in August predicting Manugode result but not one survey gave an edge to the Saffron Party.
Three Surveys say the Ruling TRS party is leading here while the remaining two say Congress will get to retain the seat despite losing its senior leader.
Raja Gopal Reddy won from here with a whopping 49% in the 2018 elections.
If TRS or Congress wins from here, Raja Gopal Reddy’s political future will be in danger and BJP will be in trouble as well. But it is not easy to write off the BJP.
But if BJP wins here after this scenario, it will be unstoppable and will be a very strong force in the Assembly elections.
