Telangana Congress has suddenly become active following the joining of Revanth Reddy and the party has grown in confidence on taking TRS in the next elections. The party leaders say that the vote share gap between TRS and Congress has come down to 5%.

Earlier, they said the vote share gap used to be from 10% to 15% and it has reduced drastically. In 2014 elections, TRS has managed 63 seats with 34% Vote Share. Congress has managed 21 seats with 25% Vote Share and TDP (TS) has got 15 seats with 14.5% Vote Share.
Congress says it has got the majority of TDP (TS) Vote Share. They are confident of covering that 5% as well in days to come. But then, they are worried about the Gujarat Assembly Elections. The results will be coming on December 19th.
They are expecting a complete rout of Congress in this election which may change the mood of the people towards Congress. “Congress is only strong in Telangana than the rest of the country. However, the result of Gujarat may reflect here,” a Senior Leader said.
