Telangana election fever has well and truly caught up with exactly two weeks to go for the polling on the 30th of November. The counting and results announcement is on the 3rd of December.
Coming to the topic, Andhra Pradesh is reportedly seeing an upsurge in betting and gambling based on Telangana elections.
Apparently, enthusiasts in Godavari districts, Guntur, Vijayawada, Nellore and other parts of Andhra Pradesh are extremely investing in the election results of Telangana.
They are said to be betting heavily on the winner of the elections, the majority of the government-forming party, and also the individual results of each of the star candidates like KCR, Revanth Reddy, Harish Rao, Eatala Rajender, and others.
People are even betting in crores of rupees for the elections, it seems. They are reportedly issuing blank cheques with the surety of crores of rupees. The ratio of wins are ranging up to 1:5, it seems. Meaning, if one bets one thousand on a thought bet, then he gets 5 thousand in case he wins.
It is reported that AP political party leaders are also actively involved in this betting program and they are even serving as bookies in the same, in a bid to make some quick money. WhatsApp is reportedly being used as the medium for this betting program.
As it appears, Telangana elections will see crores of money movement in Andhra Pradesh.
