Telangana elections have neared the peak with less than 48 hours to go for the counting on 3rd December. As the stage looks set for the big reveal, there is a lot going on now as almost every media agency has predicted a victory for Congress in the election.
Coming to the topic, here is a look into the constituencies with the highest polling percentage and also the least voting.
The constituencies with the highest polling percentage are:
– Munugode: 91.5%
– Palair: 90.2%
– Alair: 90.1%
– Bhongir: 89.9%
The constituencies with the lowest voter turnout:
– Yakutpura: 39.6%
– Malakpet: 41%
– Charminar: 41.4%
– Bahadurpura: 44.8%
– Chandrayanagutta: 45%
– Jubilee Hills: 45.2%
Rural belts Munugode, Palair, and others had the highest polling percentage and this has led to a discussion that heavy polling usually indicates anti-incumbency.
But Hyderabad again had a sorry story to tell as the constituencies in the area had abysmal polling percentages with Jubilee Hills recording an utterly low 45.2%.
