India Today and Karvy Insights have come up with an opinion poll regarding the Mood of the Nation in about two years after the last general elections. AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is ranked fourth in the most popular Chief Ministers across the country after Arvind Kejriwal (Delhi), Nitish Kumar (Bihar) and Mamatha Banerjee (West Bengal).

Coming to most popular Chief Ministers in their own states, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar are on the top with 83% of the state approving them. Following them closely are Shivraj Chouhan (Madhya Pradesh), Naveen Patnaik (Odisha) and Raman Singh (Chhatisgarh).
The opinion poll still rates Narendra Modi as the most popular PM choice in the country. Rahul Gandhi is distant second in the race but improved considerably after the 2014 elections. NDA government will still manage to form the government is elections are held together but BJP would not manage the majority on its own.
