The Temporary Buildings of Andhra Pradesh High Court which are being readied in Nelapadu, Amaravati are likely to take some more time to complete. But the Gazette Notification has come and both the High Courts will come into existence from January 1st, 2019. So, Andhra Pradesh Government is making a Temporary Arrangement.

Andhra Pradesh High Court will function from Vijayawada CM Camp Office from January 1st and will shift to the Interim High Court Buildings in Nelapadu after 20 days which is when the buildings are expected to be complete. After the Permanent Buildings in Amaravati are ready, the interim High Court buildings will be used for the District Court.
On the other side, Andhra Pradesh Lawyers have staged a Protest at the Hyderabad High Court demanding that the cutoff date should be extended. They say the bifurcation of the staff and files division is not complete and so there is no chance of the courts functioning independently from January 1st.
