Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is driving one big narrative. He is saying YCP will win 175/175 MLA seats in the 2024 elections. But his own party MLA and cabinet minister has now spoken about anti-government votes.
The said minster is Dharmana Prasad’s Rao. In his latest media interaction, he spoke about the presence of anti incumbency.
“I have to admit that there’s some anti incumbency in Andhra Pradesh” he said. He came up with a cover up story shortly after, saying the anti-government votes are due to the reforms that are being enforced by the YCP government.
The opposition parties are mocking Dharmana over the same. “Finally we have a YCP leader who has opened his eyes and saw the anti incumbency. What are the reforms that he’s talking about? Is taking unusually large loans and creating debts for state finances the reform he’s talking about” an opposition party activist tweeted a short while ago.
About the bad condition of the roads in the state, Dharmana made an absurd comment. “Did we dig the holes on the roads? The holes were there right from TDP government’s tenure. Maybe they got bigger after we came to power” he said.
Netizens are pointing out that this is the fourth year since YCP was voted to power and they’re still commenting that the bad roads are there from the TDP’s tenure. “Then what were you YCP leaders doing for last four years?” A TDP supporter questioned on social media.
The common talk now is that these irresponsible comments and actions from the YCP is what led to anti incumbency in the first place and it will get only bigger as YCP leaders turn that much more ignorant.
