Political violence in Punganur the other day stunned the entire state. For a second, there were doubts if we are living in Andhra Pradesh or Bihar.
YSRCP cadres even pelted stones on Chandrababu Naidu who is a Z-Plus Category Protectee.
Why did the violence erupt all of a sudden?
Just a day before the Punganur incident, Chandrababu Naidu visited Pulivendula, Jagan’s own constituency.
A pack of YSR Congress leaders in a car entered a rally of TDP and waved YSR Congress flags and instigated the TDP cadres.
TDP cadres chased them away and they escaped. The party filmed the scene of the YSR Congress car in the TDP rally and that flag waving.
YSR Congress’s social media wings added cinematic music to that video and made several slow-motion shots to showcase the act as some sort of heroism. They made the videos viral on social media and Whatsapp.
Those videos obviously motivated the cadres of other areas to do something crazy and enter the news and good books of Jagan Mohan Reddy. The result is the violence in Punganur.
