If at all Revanth Reddy’s Resignation letter is forwarded to the Speaker, Kodangal will go for a by-election anytime in the next six months which will be a prestigious election for the ruling party. TRS has to win this election at any cost to ensure that Congress does not get teeth before 2019 elections.

KCR already deployed Harish Rao as the in charge of Kodangal. Harish Rao is known to be a master in handling the toughest elections for KCR. TRS is planning to deploy one MLA for every village in the constituency and one Minister will handle the responsibility of a mandal.
One MP range leader will be leading the party in a unit of 15 villages. The state government is getting the caste-wise voters lists of the constituency. An MLA or MP of a caste will be addressing the people of that caste and will try to get their votes.
The services of the local leaders, ZPTCs, MPTCs, MPPs, Sarpanches and Ward Members will also be used. Harish Rao will be interacting with all the in charges regularly and will be making the party ready for the by-election. Looks like TRS is keen on winning the election at any cost!
