Telangana‘s Prestigious 2BHK Houses for the Poor sparked a controversy after a TRS Mahabubnagar MLC Candidate, PL Nagesh’s name was on the beneficiaries list. He contested the MLC elections from Mahaboobnagar and lost.

Nagesh in his election affidavit revealed that he had a car worth 8 Lakhs, Three Storeyed Building, Gold and other valuables. The Question is how he can be a beneficiary in a scheme which is meant for the poor if not due to corruption.
The case has sparked a controversy and now the opposition is questioning the corruption in TRS party. Buzz is that PL Nagesh is the henchman of cantonment MLA Sayanna and got his name included in the list on Sayanna’s recommendation. Sayanna is elected on TDP ticket and later joined TRS.
