Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) is gearing up for hectic political activity in the Old City as there are rumors that TRS government may go for early elections in October 2018 much ahead of their scheduled date of March-April 2019.
Party chief Asaduddin Owaisi is visiting colonies and neighborhoods in municipal divisions along with local legislators, corporators and officials of government departments. The focus is on improving civic amenities like drinking water lines, roads, and drainage lines which were neglected for a long time.
TRS is trying to extend its sway in the Old City and its extension areas. TRS is admitting several party leaders and youngsters of MIM into the party and Owaisi is trying his level best to keep up his hold on the MIM strongholds.
For small issues, Owaisi is immediately allotting funds from his MPLAD Funds. Due to TRS’ interference in Old City, Owaisi, who is always on the move across the country, is now moving around the localities to get an insight into developmental other public issues.
