Telangana R&B Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao is a stalwart in Khammam Politics. He is the one who breathed life in to TRS in Khammam district which is the second biggest weaklink for the party since the start. Telangana CM KCR surprised every one by fielding Tummala in Palair by-election.

Tummala is an MLC and is a minister, so this election is not at all needed for him. What is even more surprising is that KCR appointed his son, KTR as the election incharge for Paleru. Tummala is completely capable of winning the election and appointing an incharge is only insult to a leader of his stature. KCR may be looking at adding another victory to his son here.
However Tummala expressed his dissatisfaction openly and hits KCR where it hurts. Speaking to a regional media, Tummala clarified that he is completely against to family politics and will not support KTR’s nomination to CM position. He even went on to say he will not encourage family politics even if it is his family. He clarified that his support is only to the CM and at the same time added that no one can stop KTR as he is capable. So this seem to be Tummala’s retort to KCR’s insult.
