Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu presented the Vote on Account Budget of 2,26,177.53 Crores. The State Government has announced Six new schemes including two prominent schemes – Annadata Sukheebhava and Unemployed Allowance. 5000 Crore is allotted for Annadata Sukheebhava.
Unemployed Allowance is an improvised scheme wherein the allowance is now 2000 Rupees per month. Earlier it is just 1000 Rupees. Annadata Sukheebhava is a scheme similar to Telangana’s Rythu Bandhu. Under this scheme, 10000 Rupees will be given to every acre in two installments a year.
Two Crore Acres will be covered under this scheme. Tenant farmers are also given financial assistance under this scheme. The State Government is yet to announce the modalities of this scheme. Annadata Sukheebhava is allocated 5000 Crore and Unemployed Allowance scheme is allocated 1200 Crores. Pensions were allocated a whopping 10,401 crores.
