Vijayawada Central MLA seat is one of the fiercely contested segments in Andhra Pradesh. Despite having the backing of the Vangaveeti clout, Vangaveeti Radha didn’t win from here since 2004.
Now, there’s a debutante from the Vangaveeti family and she is late Vangaveeti Ranga’s daughter Ashalatha.
Apparently, Ashalatha is set to enter active politics and she is preparing the ground for the same, it seems. There are reports that her maternal uncle Chennupati Sreenu is orchestrating her political debut.
Ashalatha still hasn’t fixated on the party that she will be joining, say reports. It is also said that the political parties in the state are looking at the prospect of roping her in as that could give them an affinity with the Vangaveeti vote bank.
As for Radha, he is with TDP now and there is no certainty if he will be given the Vijayawada central ticket.
Now, Ashalatha is lobbying for the MLA ticket and she is ready to join whichever party that obliges to her demand. Which party will fulfil the wish and rope in the new entrant from the Vangaveeti family? We shall wait and see.
