In what can be termed as a Victory for YSR Congress, the Andhra Pradesh High Court has decided to handover Jagan’s Kodi Kathi Case to the National Investigative Agency (NIA). However, Union Home Ministry asked the NIA to register the case on January 1st and it has promptly registered the FIR as Well.

The news of the FIR registration is interestingly out only after the verdict of the High Court. Jagan has approached the High Court after the Police Department has taken over the case. YSR Congress is of the opinion that it is a clear case of Assassination attempt on the Opposition Leader aided by the State Government.
They feel the State Police Department is trying to sideline the case and so, Jagan approached the High Court. The Court felt it is the case of NIA since it happened in the Airport Lounge which comes under the jurisdiction of the Central Government. It has to be seen if there will be any new twists in this case after NIA’s entry.
Vishakapatnam Police who investigated this case already established that the accused is indeed a fan of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and he tried to attack the Opposition Leader just for the sake of Publicity and to ensure that his favourite leader gains some sympathy ahead of the 2019 Elections. Let us see if this stands in the NIA investigation as well.
