Vijaya Sai Reddy spent more than a couple of decades with the YS family before quitting YCP in 2025. He claims that he was mentally and physically assaulted by certain members of the Jagan camp earlier.
Now, Vijaya Sai has started a direct attack against Jagan and his party leadership from the foundational level. Now he has aimed the barrel at Jagan himself while bringing a religious and cultural angle into it.
Vijaya Sai commented that YS Jagan had converted from Hinduism to Christianity, which takes away the Hindu privilege for him.
“If Jagan Reddy really wants to continue to be a Reddy, then he must come back from Christianity to Hinduism. He can’t be practising Christianity and give himself the Reddy tag, just for the sake of communal backing and ferocity. If he really wants to be a Reddy, then he must come back to Hinduism.” Sai Reddy said.
Vijaya Sai gave the implication that Jagan is not even a Reddy at this point in time, and he must be categorised as a Christian as this is what he is practising currently.
After operating within the shadows of Jagan for many years, Vijaya Sai is now making a series of shocking allegations against his former boss. This, coming from a man who was so close to Jagan for so many years will naturally affect the YCP ecosystem as they carry a lot of weight.
