YS Jagan is usually dismissive with his detractors as he does not place too much emphasis on them. This is perhaps one of the main reasons why he isn’t bothered even when several leaders leave YSR Congress party. He rarely speaks about them.
But the departure of Vijaya Sai Reddy is showing a lot more effect on the YCP at the foundational level itself.
The fact that Vijaya Sai mentioned about several humiliating incidents where he was mentally and physically assaulted by Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy is an indication of what happened earlier.
It was very clear that Jagan was least bothered about maintaining the party affairs in order and left the entire duty to Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, which changed the entire dynamic. This comment coming from Vijaya Sai Reddy, who was once very close to Jagan is drawing all the attention.
Now, YCP social media supporters are commenting that Jagan made a mistake by leaving Sai Reddy. They are pointing out that anyone who joins YCP wishes to work with Jagan, but not with Sajjala, so Jagan delegating all the work to the latter is brainless.
There is also the opinion within YCP that “If Vijaya See who is very close to Jagan himself was unable to get access to him under Sajjala, imagine the plight of lower grade leaders.”
It appears that the departure of this senior leader and the shocking revelations made by him regarding the YCP chain of command have triggered YCP supporters themselves. But again, at the end of the day, Jagan might not be too bothered about this as he runs his party on his own terms.
