The AP CID and the YCP government were delivered a rude shock as the AP High Court granted bail to Chandrababu Naidu despite the desperate efforts of the two parties to prolong the case.
Incidentally, Naidu has now moved the High Court with regard to the liquor case filed against him by the CID in a hurried manner the other day.
The anticipatory bail petition came to a hearing today at the High Court and the CID replied they wouldn’t arrest Chandrababu till the 4-week bail period allotted by the court is completed. He can’t be arrested in any case till the bail period given by the high court is complete.
The advocate general gave a written statement to the High Court, stating the same. So, the court adjourned the case and the next hearing has been pushed to 21 November.
Naidu has been allotted bail on medical grounds and he is to be released from Rajahmundry jail any minute now.
