jagan-mohan-reddy-meeting with Senior leaders

Jagan Mohan Reddy is back in AP after his foreign trip and he is holding a meeting with senior leaders from YSRCP.

The leaders are meeting at party headquarters in Tadepalli. Some senior leaders like sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Botsa Satyanarayana, Kurasala Kannababu, Karumuri Nageswara Rao and others are part of the meet.

Missing are once ‘popular’ people like Roja, Kodali Nani, Perni Nani, Anil Kumar Yadav and Ambati Rambabu who is quite vocal.

Now it is being said that the discussions will be around YSRCP’s plan of action regarding deputy mayor, municipal chairman, vice chairman elections.

It is said Jagan will also discuss about the upcoming budget session in AP. The meeting is said to be about giving directions to leaders and cadre about how to go about given the situation.

It has to be remembered that Jagan lost his close aide Vijaysai Reddy who felt he was being sidelined. He resigned without consulting Jagan and to add salt to injury met up with YS Sharmila. This has been a big blow to the morale of the party workers.

One is left wondering what has Jagan to say when leaders are switching over to ruling TDP and YSRCP is losing in municipal polls.

After a shower of projects from the Centre, the ruling party’s credibility is at an all-time high. On the other hand, the one odd times YSRCP leaders are in news is when a case on them makes headlines or when YSRCP cadre creates ruckus over trivial issues.

At such a time, what can one expect from Jagan. He continues to be a one-man show slowly losing his base at the grassroots level.

The so-called senior leaders who are left with the party are barely active in party activities. On the other hand, instead of sensitizing cadre, the local leaders are instigating cadre to behave like rowdies.

Jagan intends to visit districts and meet cadre and boost their morale. This was supposed to start at the end of January. But even if Jagan goes into people, what will he talk against the power-packed governance of TDP.

So one wonders what Jagan ‘has’ to motivate his leaders who are preferring to sit silent or find other means to fulfill their political ambitions.
