Just when the industry let out a shy of relief, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan dropped a bomb.
His office released a Press Note thanking industry for its Return Gift to him.

There is one line in the Press Note that says – “ఇక నుంచి వ్యక్తిగత విజ్ఞాపనలు, చర్చలకు తావులేదు. సంబంధిత విభాగం ప్రతినిధులతోనే చర్చిస్తారు. వాటినే సంబంధిత విభాగాలకు పంపిస్తారు”.
Also, Pawan Kalyan has directed the officials to raid the theaters to see if the Tax payments are being done by the theaters and if F&B are sold at exorbitant prices.

This Press Note is nothing but a shock.
It is clear that Pawan Kalyan believes that a section of the industry targeted to stop the release of his Hari Hara Veeramallu, hence the mention of ‘Return Gift’.

There are speculations if this will foil the relationship between the Government and the industry.
There are rumors in the industry that a Producer who has easy access to Pawan Kalyan first planted this thought of ‘Strike to Stop Hari Haraveeramallu’.
The Producer thought if this is brought forward, the section pressing for the Percentage System would automatically stop.
The issue was put in the backburner but now Pawan Kalyan started seriously believing that industry is conspiring against the film.
Due to the easy access of the Government, all the films got the necessary price hikes.
The producers are worried that if not entertaining one to one meetings means not entertaining these requests.
Some people conspiring to stop Hari Hara Veeramallu is silly.
Be it a theater owner or a lease owner everyone wants a big film for feeding. Especially after a drought at the box office, Hari Hara Veeramallu is a big relief.
It is quite common to bring up a big issue like this before a star film because everyone will be in an urgency to address the issue.
In fact, the demand for the Percentage System first started in East Godavari district and later spread to other districts. When they first called for Bandh from June 1st, Hari Hara Veeramallu was not announced for June 12th release.
When the idea is to checkmate those demanding Percentage System using Pawan Kalyan, it seems to have backfired.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu gave a complete free hand to Pawan Kalyan in matters pertaining to the industry until now, we will have to see if he gives the same free hand to an upset Pawan Kalyan.
The discrepancies in theaters did not start now. If you take them seriously only when you think your film is being targeted, sends a very wrong signal.
Pawan Kalyan’s Press Note was released in haste, he should not have mentioned ‘Return Gift’ which is not an official language.
