YS Jagan Mohan Reddy seems to be on a buttering spree.
He seems to be eager to be in the good books of the Central Government.
Jagan suddenly picked up this habit of wishing Central Ministers on their Birthdays.
In June, he wished Kishan Reddy on his Birthday and today he wished another Union Minister Rajnath Singh.
It is interesting to note that he called Kishan Reddy as “నా మిత్రుడు” in that message.
In Political Circles, Kishan Reddy is often treated as anti-TDP and a good supporter of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as both of them are from the same community.
Jagan Mohan Reddy has to warm the Opposition benches for another four years.
He has no control over Delhi as his strength got weakened in the Lok Sabha and also in Rajya Sabha.
Further, TDP and BJP are in an alliance in AP and Delhi.
Moreover, the NDA Government in the country is dependent on the TDP’s numbers.
Sensing Naidu can pressure the Modi Government to FastTrack his disproportionate assets cases and YS Vivekananda Reddy’s Murder case, Jagan seems to be buttering the cabinet ministers.
It’s been one year of this new government but there is no movement whatsoever in those cases.
Jagan stopped attending the court every Friday citing his busy schedule as the Chief Minister.
He did not even resume that which indicates how slow those cases have been.
The CBI is handling Vivekananda Reddy’s case and all the accused (Jagan’s family and YSRCP leaders) are right now on bail.
As of now, Jagan Mohan Reddy is decently placed when it comes to the cases.
But he seems to be trying to impress the National Leaders due to abundant caution.
