Reports are emerging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seriously considering to advance the General Elections to November 2018. Along with the Lok Sabha elections, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Odisha, and Sikkim Assembly Elections are also likely to happen.

The Big Question is if Chandrababu Naidu and KCR will join the Prime Minister in the early elections. Both the Chief Ministers of late have been instructing their concerned party leaders to prepare for elections as and when they happen.
It has to be seen if they will sail with Modi in this decision. Such a move will also cut down the preparation time for the Opposition while the ruling parties will anyway have their own advantage at least a bit. Last time in 2004 when Vajpayee and Naidu decided to go for early elections, both TDP and BJP had to sit in Opposition for a decade.
